Description
This product is a natural pear reduction from 100% Swiss pears. All it contains is juiced pears that are cooked down to create a honey-like molasses. It does not contain any additives, preservatives or sugars.
The Birehong Vintage 2017 shows a dark colour, rich yet balanced fruit tones from ripe pears with a hint of acidity making it the perfect accompaniment for semi-hard cheese. It can also be used for salads, desserts or to spread on crusty bread.
The 2017 Vintage chars have a best before date of December 2023 (they actually get even better with age and – like honey – it basically doesn’t expire or go bad).
