It’s a clever idea and beautifully executed. The famous Swiss mountain panoramas are used as the silhouette of the cutting blade of this bread knife. It’s a perfect complement to the Panorama cheese knife.
The unique Panorama knife is made from stainless cutlery steel 42 (Molybdenum/ Vanadium), DIN No 1.4116. hardened to 54-55 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C). The blade has been blue-polished, the handle consists of recycled rosewood from India. The riveting is aluminium. Blade and handle are manufactured in Italy, the PanoramaKnife, however, accords to the highest Swiss quality. The packaging originates from the Thurgau. Finalisation takes place in Ermatingen.
The Berner Oberland (“Bernese Highlands”) version shows the wonderful peaks from the center of Switzerland near the capital Berne: Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Abeni Flue, Breithorn, Blüemlisalp, Doldenhorn, Hockenhorn and Balmhorn.
It not only looks amazing it also cuts any crusty bread phenomenally.
Swiss idea, Swiss quality, produced in Italy.
