Bringing you beautiful raw milk cheese from Switzerland to your door

** Thank you for visiting us at the French Festival
————————————————————
Hi Cheese Friend,

You receive this email because you signed up to our newsletter during the French Festival last weekend.

First of all – welcome to our little cheese fan club! It certainly is a privilege to have you amongst us.

How fantastic was the festival? We certainly had a brilliant time – great people, perfect weather and tasty artisan cheese – what else would you want?

Here’s a little summary of the cheeses we had on offer those days:

** Sélection Beeler Vacherin Fribourgeois
————————————————————
https://www.alpineexpress.com.au/our-cheese/selection-rolf-beeler-vacherin-fribourgeois-aoc/

This cheese is a washed rind cheese made from cow’s milk. It is produced exclusively in the alpine region and villages of the canton Fribourg which gives it part of its name. The other part stems from the latin word “vaccarinus” which means “little cow shepherd”. This raw milk cheese has a distinct, tangy, slightly bitter with a superbly creamy finish.

Sélection Beeler Gruyère AOP
————————————————————
https://www.alpineexpress.com.au/our-cheese/selection-rolf-beeler-gruyere-aoc/The Gruyère has its origin right in the heart of the foothills of the Fribourg Alps. It is undeniably one of the most influential Swiss cheeses with its history dates back to the pre-Roman era. This particular Gruyère has been fully matured over 18 months and enjoys an aromatic-fruity flavour with a savoury, salty base. It’s simply a Rolf Beeler master cheese.

** Tête de Moine
————————————————————
https://www.alpineexpress.com.au/Translated this one means “Monks head”. It’s the one we shaved off the mini wheel with that funky apparatus called “Girolle”.

Where can you find this cheese?

For example Bill’s Farm at the Queen Victoria Market (in the diary hall), Spring St Grocer at 157 Spring St, next to the parliament or Leo’s Fine Food & Wine in Kew. For a full list of our stockists see our website listing (https://www.alpineexpress.com.au/where-to-buy/) .

Once again, welcome to our artisan cheese club. We will continue to inform you about new varieties, unique cheese events and other specials without spaming your inbox. We promise!
