World Cheese Awards 2025: Swiss Excellence Recognised Worldwide

We’re delighted to announce that several cheeses represented by The Red Cow have been recognised at the World Cheese Awards 2025 in Bern – one of the world’s most prestigious cheese competitions.

Judged against more than 5,000 cheeses from over 40 countries, these Swiss masterpieces earned their place among the very best, appearing in the official World Cheese Awards directory.


Supreme Champion Award Icon The Overall World Champion: Gruyère AOP 18 Months

This year’s Supreme Champion was a spectacular Gruyère AOP 18 months from Vorderfultigen – a wheel praised for its perfect balance of sweetness, roasted nuttiness, depth and a long, elegant finish.
